NWAC – Nikon Wedding Advanced Campus Workshop

Workshop Lipari Martin Vrabko Backstage-5NWAC invited Martin to give a 3 days lecture in Sicily, Lipari. In those 3 days professional and hobby photographers went trough experience, how to create and handle emotions while we photograph unexperienced people in front of camera.

On the second & third day, we were practicing lighting techniques with focus on combination of professional PROFOTO lights an daylight, which is very useful for photography on location.

Professional photographer Martin Vrabko at 5 days photo shoot with top 15 ski racers. We have met and work with all big names in Ladies slalom during the  SKI WORLD CUP JASNA 2016. The organizers decided to offer a beauty program for ladies which all world knows mostly as a sports dressed women with “must wear” logos of sponsors. We have prepared two stages, one portrait and one fashion like.

The top 15 racers in Slalom category – Frida Hansdotter, Veronika Velez Zuzulová, Šárka Strachová, Wendy Holdener, Petra Vlhová, Mikaela Shiffrin, Nastasia Noens, Nina Løseth, Carmen Thalmann, Marie-Michèle Gagnon, Maria Pietilä-Holmner, Michaela Kirchgasser, Michelle Gisin, Resi Stiegler, Anna Swenn-Larson got two pictures printed on stage. Workshop Portrait in Gorizia Italy

DSC_0094One day workshop after opening an exhibition in Gorizia, Italy.

I have been part of Gorizia Photography Week, presenting project “In Motion” partly in Museum Santa Chaira Gorizia, Italy.

At the workshop I have presented to participants lighting techniques based on studio lights FOMEI. We were in beautiful historical building with fire place which made interesting atmosphere on set.

Ludwig “fun” Beethoven na Slovensku

Beethoven 012Niekedy sa pri práci aj z chuti a výdatne zasmejeme.

Pred mnohými rokmi, Ludwig van Beethoven skomponoval slávnu Mesačnú sonátu na Slovensku v kaštieli Dolná Krupá. Pred nedávnom som mal možnosť si túto skladbu zahrať na mieste, kde vznikla. Bola to zaujímavá a nádherná skúsenosť, v rámci filmovania reklamy na Viva Musica festival, ktorý sponzorsky podporila SLSP a.s. Okrem práce sme sa aj výborne zabavili.

Fashion Revolution Slovakia

Fashion Revolution Backstage 036We were honoured to be chosen by Fashion Revolution Slovakia, to make a set of pictures with slovak celebrities.

First article with first edition of pictures, specially made for magazine Wink, with a wink you can find here
Slovakia got involved into Fashion Revolution together with other 67 countries this year. On 24 April 2013, 1133 people were killed and over 2500 were injured when the Rana Plaza factory complex collapsed in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Fashion Revolution is raising awareness around unsustainable issues in fashion industry.
